LinkMesh

Terms

Terms of Use

These terms govern use of linkmesh.io (this marketing website) and the LinkMesh software you download from us. Use of the website implies acceptance. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Effective date: 2026-05-20.

Who

LinkMesh is a product of OpenSight, the sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen) of Roman Hüsler, Switzerland. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean OpenSight / Roman Hüsler. Contact: info@opensight.ch.

The website

linkmesh.io is provided as-is for informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep its content accurate, but specifications, prices, and feature claims may change without notice.

The site links to third-party services (the documentation site, our artifact server, the GitLab repositories). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms; we don't take responsibility for them here.

The software

LinkMesh Server, LinkMesh Agent, and the curated LinkMesh Collector are distributed under the licence terms shipped with each binary.

  • Free evaluation use: You may download the software and use it on your own infrastructure to evaluate the product. The free tier covers a small number of managed Collectors as documented on Pricing.
  • Production use: Deployment beyond the free tier requires a separate licence agreement. Contact info@opensight.ch to arrange one.

We do not operate the software for you. There is no SaaS, no managed hosting — you run the software yourself, on your infrastructure.

No warranty

The software and this website are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, bug-free, or secure operation. You are responsible for deploying and configuring the software in a way that fits your environment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OpenSight is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the website or the software, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Where the above is unenforceable, our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees actually paid to OpenSight for the software during the twelve months preceding the claim.

Intellectual property

"LinkMesh", the LinkMesh logo, and the LinkMesh documentation are property of OpenSight (Roman Hüsler). You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source of the software except where allowed by applicable law (for example, interoperability under EU directives).

OpenTelemetry, OpAMP, and other open-source dependencies retain their original licences — see the LICENSES/ directory shipped with the software for the full attribution.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Switzerland.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The effective date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes are surfaced in the website footer or via the cookie banner the next time you visit.
